Abstract

Pursuing the hypothesis that Lettera da Casablanca is Tabucchi's best work, the writer proposes a list of ten of its characteristics and those of other of the writer's works. Further consideration is to given to what his writings are not, to Piccoli equivoci senza importanza, to the use of time and tense, to "backwards lives", L'angelo nero and finally Sostiene Pereira.
