Parronchi in the last two decades: poetry as a question-reply correlation

Abstract

To seek an answer, to discover and to reveal, to suffer for not knowing (non sapere) seem to be the directions in which Parronchi's poetry persistently moves. The poet's doubts, uncertainties, not knowing as regards his inner world and the outside reality find their expression in a question-reply correlation, whose asymmetrical proportions are as intriguing to the reader as to the poet himself.
